It seems to be a hard nut to crack but there may be a glimmer of hope that the 2D guys may be starting to warm up to the idea that models too can be Aviation Art.
On the American Society Of Aviation Artists new site there is actually a structural type model that was recognized and won a prize.Granted it was done by an already recognized 2D artist but maybe there is a little light at the end of the tunnel after all.
