Hey folks -

So I got this great little picture for Fathers Day - very cool. When I looked at it, I said, hey, I think this is a DH4...sure looks like it is. Now, I am going to post this with the original image scan. Then the image adjusted in size and contrast with some sharpening. In doing some of that one can see the Oklahoma appear under the exhaust pipe/manifold. Also the stripes on the tail are visible too. Could be an early conversion over to mail runs?

Um - scratch that last line - I can see a cockade on the fuselage - so this is still an active duty bird it appears. Maybe the bombing crew named her Miss Oklahoma???

Love to hear people's ideas....
