This takes the cables from out from inside the nacelle , to redirect them , clear of the airscrew , down along the outside of the lower outrigger ...back to the rudder.....A third cable , joining them via a connection plate , takes directional control to the (steerable) tailskid....However , within this line there is of necessity a "compensator" , which allows through its spring ,. a cerlain amount of flexabilaty in this cable arrangement .....Construction is generaly similar to aileron "brackets" , with the bracket a fabrication from machined HT steel components threaded together , and locked permanently with silver solder introduced into the thread and shoulder joint .
