Caveat emptor 
One must be very careful with these things, even if the signature actually matches the original. I have seen many bogus signed photos and documents coming up for sale. I usually stay away from all these things unless I am 100% sure of its provenance and authenticity. It is absolutely indispensable to physically inspect the item. You can manipulate an image with Photoshop anyway you want.
