I am so glad to see that the comments on here are all very informative, and point out pluses and minuses with civility. The concerns I expressed were to show that if you're looking for the ease of IL-2, this game, as it is now, ain't it. Disappointed? Yeah, I was, but I've put it into perspective.
I was soooo anxious to get another WW 1 game that I popped for it without waiting for feedback. Down the road, with a newer PC and updates from Neoqb, it will hopefully reach its full potential. I don't regret buying it- we need to show designers that there IS a market for these kind of games, lest we get overrun with Transformers V. 50 and Grand Theft Auto V. 42.
Now I'm back to First Eagles, which to me was like RB IV. And of course my beloved IL-2. But one day I hope I'll sit down behind my PC and take off into the wild blue yonder with Rise of Flight.
