Having seen a few videos of RoF now, I must say that I am amazed by the number of victories that occur by shooting off one or more wings!

As a matter of fact, I've not seen any other type of win. Considering this, it's hard to call that realistic. Plenty of pilots survived one or more downings in their careers and if shooting off the wings was so common, the air crew fatalities would have been far higher...

Personally I usually don't play online. I'd like it I guess, but lack the time. Offline singleplay is my game and because of that, RoF is not for me. It has little to offer. Having completed an RB3D career with VonTom's CM and WFP 6 that allows you a 100 different planes in the game throughout 1915-1918, I could never fall for a sim that has less than 10 planes in it. As a matter of fact, I've been considering OFF for CFS3, but that too lacks in plane content if you ask me.
