Personally I usually don't play online. I'd like it I guess, but lack the time. Offline singleplay is my game and because of that, RoF is not for me. It has little to offer. Having completed an RB3D career with VonTom's CM and WFP 6 that allows you a 100 different planes in the game throughout 1915-1918, I could never fall for a sim that has less than 10 planes in it. As a matter of fact, I've been considering OFF for CFS3, but that too lacks in plane content if you ask me.

Kind regards,

Reinout
You are right Reinout, wings always coming off isn't realistic, but neither is flying 100 different plane types during a campaign! It's all what one is willing to accept, I guess.

Still, having personally flown RoF (offline only, so far) I've seen more than just wings come off. I've seen flamers, mid-air explosions, forced landings, crash landings, and planes that just slanted away due to pilot kills or destroyed controls. Regardless, no matter how utterly advanced the RoF FMs are beyond any other WW1 sim, there are only four flyables at the moment, and I doubt there will ever be 100! OFF has somewhere near 40 and I doubt they'll make it to 100, either. Mind you, I'd love to have 100 flyables in RoF! If they ever put out a Gotha, though, I'll take it and go quietly on my way.
