Historcial Aircraft Wood Working Class Offered

Blue Swallow Aircraft, LLC is offering a two day class in historical aircraft wood working at our workshop in Keswick, VA Sept. 12-13th. We are conveniently located two hours south of Washington, DC and one hour west of Richmond, VA.

The program will include instructions in wood selection, grading and cutting to size from rough planks. Jig building and their use. Proper procedures for steaming and bending wood. The selection of adhesives and other wood fasteners. Splicing of spars and other wood structures correctly.
