Thank you !! I understand now. Iam still going thru the links to understand how to and what to order but I do understand now what they are.

Umlau got the springs from dis-assembling what appear to be Spring Loaded Circuit Board testing Probes built to very exacting and tiny specifications.

I am assuming to order the .025 inch size probe but I must search more to find a retailer and price. I pray they will not cost too much since I assume you must have taken apart quite a few of them to do one engine (9-clyinders/2 springs per ? )
