So this session started with some details. I got my hands on a copy of Wind-Sock Datafiles so I thought I'd "accurize" a bit. If you take a look back the original structure of the rudder was straight. I'd made new ones & added the top angled piece. I'm debating whether or not to narrow the upright a bit.
I then added the angled braces to the elevator.
Then moved back to plywood. I'd stained in front of the cockpit, at least it won't be a major issue to paint over, & put the first coat on the mid line panels.
The green paint made it a bit easier to follow the cowling line...
...which gave me some more clean up to do.
I've gotten to cleaning up the inside of the cowl & replacing all the bits that came off the side bulkheads. I was thinking of neo magnets in the ring cowl to hold the front end down. I've tabbed the back edge to keep that in place. Also, I think I should make some wedges to brace the cabane block...
