I'll try to answer some of your questions...

Based on other posts I have seen here, I know I should get there early to tour the site, etc. There are 4 hangers worth visiting either before or after the airshow. I went with my 12 yr old son this past Sunday and he was very bored while I visited the hangers. Your daughter probably will be too, so I would guess a half hour would be the limits of her attention span while you linger at the collection.

I am interested in options in the area for lunch? There is a food stand on the premesis where you can buy typical fast food items. You are also free to bring in your own food and drinks.

I am also interested in any recommendations for visiting Rhinebeck with a small child. She is into airplanes, but do I need to take something to sit on? Any suggestions for good places to sit so a little one can see what is going on during the show? The airfield is lined with wooden benches so you do not need to bring anything. Plenty of good viewing areas.

Also, most importantly, what are the restroom facilities like? If I'm not mistaken there are port-a-potties.
