Mother Richthofen did not talk about Käthe, but an other young woman. This relation was dicussed in Over the Front some years ago. Manfred did not want to 'marry a widow'. He was certain not to survive the war, therefor he did not go further in this relationship.

'Der Rote Kampfflieger' has been reprinted a couple of times. the 1920 edition was called 'Ein Heldenleben' ("A hero's life"). I have issus from 1917, 1920, 1933, 1935, 197X, 1990...
