Does anybody know of any quotes that detail, the strict standards with which MvR kept his men. I've done some researching and i've found that MvR did not let his men, indulge their senses too often. I mean, life at the airfield was quite relaxed (or so i've read) but there is also evidence to suggest otherwise.
This includes a quote by  Lothar Von Richthofen about how alcohol was not allowed at the airfield. Can anybody substantiate what i'm saying with a quote or two..?

If not a teetotaler, MvR was quite reserved with drink, to set an example, I suppose.
And also on the ground, after a mission, he was quite severe in his post-mission debriefs, as von der osten experienced.
