Thomson Burtis was a prolific writer of WWI aviation fiction for young readers. Arch Whitehouse....well, we all know about him. I cannot find the artists of these covers either.

J. Railton Holden also wrote many novels of the air war published in England from 1934 to 38. This one is apparently about the RFC against the Turks.
