I have to agree with just about all you said. I haven't been in 15 years (talking about the full-scale show) and it wasn't what I remembered. Certainly could have done without the Great Lakes Trainers cutting toilet paper ribbons for as long as they did, or even the Super Stearman "mini airshow". Being up in the museum and hangars made me downright sad.

Without the RC I would have been a little sore about making the trip. Speaking of the RC, I do wish there had been more time for organized flying events like you mention. As it was, it was just hours of open flying with some select planes flying to start off the show at 2.

Overall a good time and I know there were a lot of people who had a nice day, too.
