The PIPE Here again...I've been a year away from work (UNemployment from the financial crisis) so an Old Rhinebeck trip was simply NOT in the cards for me this year !!!
I spotted your photo of what APPEARS to be the very same Avro I got some GREAT shots of last year (2008) at ORA, which occurred only two weeks before I was laid off on September 19th of last year.

...it's just that since I HAVE been laid off, with two interviews that were unfortunate "busts", and waiting now to hear on a third I had just over a week ago, there's just not much "hiring activity" as yet...!
Whenever the Old Guard of Messrs. Cassens, Taylor, Kopecky, Ackley, Polapink, et al CAN be back at Old Rhinebeck, THEN the airshow will start looking more and MORE like it did when Cole was still with us...
...as only the people that knew Cole himself, so well, can actually bring BACK the amazing atmosphere many of us ORA "long-timers" remember from those past years...!!!
