1911 Curtiss Ely Project Progress

Gents and Ladies: A few photos of the suspension stand I built while mocking up the center section bay, the engine, and all the other parts and pieces which hang off that essential core of a Curtiss Pusher. I have been making stacks of parts and piling them up. With this fixture in place, I can now begin putting things where they belong!

Question for the experts: How far behind the trailing edge does the prop go? I have a Saber Industries 6" Hub Extension, which moves the Continental a bit further forward, similar to the 8" extension on the Owl's Head Curtiss Headless. I would like to stay as close to the trailing edge as possible. Any help out there? Any ideas?
