Hi,

I start to paint the Axial-Prop from the Fokker 103/17 today (tonight in Germany at the moment).
I used a brown pen...........it's freehand painting. The basic-colour is Tamiya's XF-59 "desert yellow". The referenc-pictures of Voss are from the book
"Fokker Dr.I Triplane - A World War One Legend"
from Paul Leaman, ISBN 1-903223-28-8..............
............very rare and very expensive in Germany (60.-Euro)

The next, you see the F.1-cowling with the oil-lip. The cowling is the F.1 Roden-Kit-Part, the lip is a scratch-built-Part
