We have been expecting to see own own skies turn red over here in NZ, but nothing yet. And there probably won't be either as we are 1000 miles away. There are scare stories in our TV news about the dust being radioactive as it is understood to come from a place where uranium is mined in Aust (we are proudly nuclear free in NZ
).
