I would like to know what type of ww1 bird would be very welcome to the ww1 community at large? I have a 1/4 scale SSW D111 (DJ's plans) and a Sopwith pup (BUSA) Working on a 1/3 weiss dr1. I love most ww1 planes and get a bit dissapointed to see the same pups,triplanes D7's ect. I know these planes are the most often kitted and therefore assume they are the most popular. I love my D111 even though I am rebuilding after my cabanes came unsoldered in flight. My point is there are numerous others that have excellent flight characteristics and would make wonderful kits. I am planning on starting a small company to kit some of these birds (More info to come after the first of the year) and I value your input.
