I work with a lot of TV networks and I can assure you that they would turn it down. Moves too slow.
Like war, television is not about a cause. Its not about truth. Its about money.
Like war, television appeals to the lowest common denominator. It requires support of the ignorant masses. It relies entirely upon propaganda.
Like war, the best characters are the poor stooges who don't even know they're acting as a pawn in a play... witness "reality" TV.
I share your high hopes, but I believe you expect far too much of television networks.
