Hello Gregory,
I'm a little bit lazy at time about the E.V.

I work on the 1/32 Voss F.1.................painting the cowling with Mr. Metalcolor No.:218, then olive from "Revell" and after this the "face" with white acrylic's.
And the wood-grain on the Albatros D.I tail-skid .................all so small things................

The weathering-effect on the upperside of the wing?
Hmm, in profil's -- Windsock etc. --, you can see this effect on the underside only. I think I don't touch the top-side.
My next job on the E.V is masking and painting the fuselage with Lozenge-colours.........better I used Doug's Decal-lozenge, but I have no Decalpaper.

Your AVIS -E.V/D.VIII is a good decision
