Joined today and hope to find out some about the early years of aviation.
Have had kerosin in my blood since I was a kid and things didn't get any better after I left naval aviation in 1990.
Based at Hoogeveen airport, the Netherlands I assist local groups with maintenance,
PR, photos, whatever.
Right now we have some projects going on like the building a Pietenpol Air Camper which hopefully will be taking off next year. Its supposed to be powered by an Anzani engine which is also the reason I showed up overhere.
Further on we have a Ryan R-22 (original) and SE-5A (replica) besides many more 'younger' aircraft.
