Dale, I've built this D.VII before and liked it so much that it was my choice for the rebuild instead of the Flying Scale Models version from England. The plans are as good as VK's for the Fokker Dr.I. Does your version have tabs on all the rib topsides for building upside down? I didn't have that on the first one...
Ron, the G-38 was what powered the first one, too! I build light and it was an ideal engine in terms of weight and size. It can be hidden away nicely without too much sticking out. I loved the way it flew, just virtually landed itself with a little rudder.
I'll start a new thread when I have something more to show. Right now my building table is covered with boxes and plans and sundry junk. Amazing how everything can get converted to storage when you're not looking!
