Post Looking for title of Book

Several years ago I read a book by I think was a WW1 British Aviator. It had very interesting insights as to how he trained himself for good shooting by recalling his experiences while learning to hunt flying game, ie. leading the preyfor a shot instead of firing dead on. It also had very interesting notes on how to use a 3 or 4 plane unit as an attack force. it also had a very vivid account as to what it was really like to be part of the units based in France. Not at all like the romantic tales of the movies or books written by others. Up at dawn in all weather, on the line for flight at a moments notice, coming back from operations-refuling and fyling once again several times a day.

The gist of this is to find once again that book. Can anyone help in this endeavor? Sure would like to pass the title and recommendation to read onto some of the members of My Radio Control Club since several have interests in WW1 Scale Models and an interest in the history of WW1 Pilots.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide. - Darryl Zempel-darrzemp@embargmail.com if you would like to reply privately.
