You're doing a super job. Everything looks spot on to my eye.
Here are some shots that I took of the undercarriage of an original Camel at the USAF Museum in Dayton. The steel cable has been added to the 'bungee' suspension along with jack stands to prevent the kind of droop you've seen in other photos. I have more photos of this aircraft, particularly front cowl and underside of upper wing. Shout out if you need them.
