Yes, there is one. Well, sort of. That would be 'The Great Waldo Pepper', which is certainly the best 'WW1' movie. Of course it is not set in WW1, but the story is very heavily related to WW1 and an incident from it which touches the lives of most of the characters, ultimately ending with a 'WW1 dogfight' between two of them as they reconstruct the event for a war movie. All the aircraft in it are of the correct type for what is being portrayed (mostly JN-4s), and the movie itself has some of the best aerial sequences ever put on film. It's a far better movie than The Blue Max or Aces High. I like both those too of course, but they are flawed in several ways as far as historical accuracy goes.
