Well Said Ball

That is exactly the case, What you said was right on the money, RAF56 Ball. I thought the same thing, great special effects with the occasional peice of artistic licence. I just sat back and marvelled at the wonderful Red Albatross, and went wow the first red baron movie were he flys a Bi-plane, it's the first one i've seen with voss, wolf, lothar udet (Black and white Dr.1 Ballloon scene) and others shown, wonderful colours rendering lighting, you guys who are neging out about this movie need to realise, Nothing is ever going to be depicted historically 100%, you need to let go, and just enjoy something that was obviously made with alot of love and care, A film that made the most of a limited budget which was 18,000,000 compared to "Flyboys" with a budget of 60,000,000, and in Flyboys most people would agree was lacking in a big way with regards to historical accuracy and also the special effects in "Flyboys" was found wanting compared to the Red Baron whhich most people would agree was far better. So I think if you love this era of aviation, just put those pent up Historical Brains in check and enjoy the movie. It's far better than alot of the crap coming out of hollywood these days. Come On!
