Ah yeah ? The second appears to be someones personal attempt at Tin -Sodered Aret Work of a "Plane" alhtough I beg back and defer to the Stealth ROcket palne refernces already offered. (Although Modified Motor Shell comes to mind too ?)
The Other however I recognized from my fathers orignal 1950-60 era RC/Free Flight Collection as a Gas powered Five clyinder Model RC/Free-FLight Engine. ALthough it weel could be a more recent production. It is still a Gas powered Model Plane engine.
For those who dont go back far enough for Powered "Free-FLight" the concept of which to this day still boggles my mind but think of it as RC buidling and flying WITHOUT the RC ? Yes they would spend days, weeks months building Balsa, gas powered Beomoths with fixed Rudderes and limited Gas supply's and hand Lanch them in Open sapces to watch them fly and hope beyond hope to recover them.
