I've got an oil based wash down into the fine detail....while that dries I decided to address the propeller and hub.......I like the Roden molded on plastic hub detail better than the photo-etched ones I have (None of the Foto-cut stuff I have matches this style of Hub) and the PART version is just a bit shallow in detail for me???? The only problem with the Roden Hub is it is thick enough to pass for an armored cowl ring on a Focke-Wulf 190...which in my case is a good thing...I decided I'll just cut it off (I was going to remove it to paint the prop anyway) and thin it down......a few photos of the results and first coat of paint on the cleaned up hub and prop.....
