I hope they used better glue in thier restorations, mine fell to pieces as I opened it for the first time!

I use the nasm book everyday in my build and probably wouldnt have been able to begin building without it. One just needs to be careful drawing "absolute" conclusions based on evidence that is less than complete.
Yes something held the covers on, but it just doesnt seem right to me for them to use such large bolts when so many weight saving efforts went into action elsewhere. Im happy to know for "sure" either way...
The undercarriage isnt too far off now.



This is few months old and shows the skinning process, but it now looks almost the same again after I had to remove the entire port side to fix a buckle in the skin...sigh.
