and there lays the trouble with the painting of the wings.. in art you would have the lighter shad on the highest spot and the darkest in the lower and the original color in the middle ... but what were trying to make is a translucent effect and there is were the trouble begins ,,, with paint it is hard to copy the effects of light through fabric so we copy only one view of the light and angle and it looks funny in a different angle it is hard to do..
