ok so moving it a bit off topic ...it's about Graeme after all...but i like so many things he says ... You thought you were the only person bothering with this ..... So much how i used to feel . I come from one of the remotest parts of the world , and as i grew up my passion for military history has both comforted me and alienated me . The big shock was indeed when i found out others knew more than me ... it was great and hard at the same time . I was so used to the solitude of my passion it was in some ways a shock to find others . I guess the shock really set in when others didn;t think I knew very much ....but you live and learn huh . I still remember when I was 12 and in the one shop in out town they had a boom about the Luftwaffe ... I looked at that book so many times and begged my dad to buy it for me ...still have it even though one of my labs chewed it's spine for no apparent reason ? ...wwi aviation started when I visted the RAF Museum at hendon in 93 ( i went back there 3 days in a row ) ... i bought the book shop out and thats where it began ... I still study all military history ...and i love this subject just as much as the others .
