Actually, it had more to do with money than support for the hobbythough that has something to do with it also. Mine has been a single income household, which is tough to do these days especially with 4 kids. I was introduced to R/C by a college buddy. He and I were were a mutual support group during our bachelor days. Mostly we built watercraft but some aircraft. About the time I got married he got a job out of town it tough to get together for a build when you are 400 miles apart. I've been building plastic scale models since I was a kid and still do but my now ex-wife did little more tolerate my hobbies and she never....STOP!!!... sorry had to do an intervention there, this is not the "Bash the Ex" web site. Any way I've probably done more model building in the past 18 months than I managed in 22 years of married life. So, YES, Mode One, be very greatful for you spouse's love and support, so put down the glue and paint and spend this Sunday being her valentine.
