More general, popular 'aces' histories

I simply have to add these to the list. They are all 'popular' (and often inaccurate) histories of WWI aviation concentrating on the aces. Today we all snicker and express our dismay at the works of Whitehouse (especially) and Reynolds, but these books were well-written and had a huge impact on me as a kid - and many others, often serving as the starting points of a lifelong fascination with our topic.

8. Chapter 5 - The Year of the Sky Gods-1917 and 6 - The Year of Tactical Aviation- 1918 both contain Whitehouse's own version of the Richthofen story, told from a biased viewpoint of an RFC/RAF vet. Whitehouse made his famous claim to have been shot down by Richthofen on 13 April 1917 in this book and others (we now know he was shot down by Jasta 18).
