* *BB (that's Bishop, not Bardot) apparently did not make the first airdrome raid (overlooking the dispute as to whether He Did or He Didn't.) *Sgt. Tom Mottershead, who died in Feb. 17, reportedly was reprimanded for landing his FE on a German field while his gunner shot up the place before taking off. *Now THAT shoulda got a VC. *I don't know if the field has been ID'd in that case, either.
