On the twelfth day of Christmas,

Twelve brandy-sodas
Eleven Camels turning
Ten Tripehounds climbing
Nine Quirks a-spotting
Eight Archies barking
Seven hut-mates sleeping
Six onions flaming
Five days of rain!
Four falling Huns
Three French SPADS
Two Vickers guns
And a week’s leave in Gay Paree!
