Hi,
MvR in his autobio i believe, described it as near 1/2 hour or so of combat before they reached the deck and he chased him by putting the bullet in him. Ck with the links section here, and read through the online book of Der Rote Kampflieger. i forget what the other books say on how long the fight was... will ck later..
