New iBook German Seaplane Fighters of WWI

Today I published my second iBook, German Seaplane Fighters of WWI. The book has 141 pages, 167 contemporary photos, 25 color profiles by Bob Pearson, and five paintings by Steve Anderson, including the cover painting. The book is available in PDF format from the Aeronaut Books website and in iBooks format from Apple's iTunes bookstore; search for ISBN 9781935881513. The cost is $7.99 from the Aeronaut Books website and in the US on iTunes; other countries have it on iTunes for the nearest equivalent in local currency.

Cheers,
Jack

Jack What can I say? Really thanks a lot for this little book. I'm a cardmodeler trying to model the KDW. Find your book was great. A lot a new pictures, btw seems each KDW was nearly a unique model, but I can choose now from your book.
I'm live in Argentina, so the ibooks are great to me. I prefer pay you for research and not the very expensive shipping charges.
One question: What plane is the one in the beautiful picture on page 14? The one which start the chapter 2.
One suggestion: I'd like each plane has at least one profile, for example I'd like one profile for the KDW.
I'm looking forward to buy your other books. Great work.
Regards
Alcides

Thank You!

Alcides,

Thank you for the kind words on my iBook/ebook on the German floatplane fighters; I appreciate them.

I thought the electronic books would be a good experiment to see if there is a market and if electronic books worked for people, and I am glad to hear they worked for you.

Good luck with the KDW. You may be interested to know that I wrote a large KDW article that appeared in OTF issue 24-3, autumn 2009. It has 1/48 drawings of the Brandenburg KDW, W16, and W25 that might help you.

All the best,
Jack Herris

P.S. My actual email address is on page 140 of the book.
