Landing Gear?

Hello Dan-San,
These are beautiful drawings. I realize that their main purpose is to show colors and markings, but wonder if you might have any drawings that show dimensional and structural details of the landing gear. If so, I'd love to see them.

Hi Dan-san,

Not to question but........ I've only ever seen 105/15 portrayed with a red stripe forward of the fuselage cross. A common error or a disagreement of yours with accepted tradition?

Just curious - no offence intended.

No Offense Taken:
The rationale for the blue sash is on page 5 of "Finishing and Markings of Fokker E.III105/15", here in the archives. This data was prepared for Javier Arango's Fok.E.III replica. My avatar photo was taken in this machine. Chuck Wentworth does beautiful work.

Fokker E.III wing area

Forgive my incursion to this topic please!

I would use E.III right wing panel drawing as a reference.
After careful examination i found right wing panel area to be 7.5 square meter (+/-0.5%). I have good reasons to believe the left wing panel area to be the same. So, Fokker E.III wing area including section cut by the fuselage (1.28 square meter) should be 16.3 square meter, or 175 square feet. Values reported elsewhere (i do not have authentic source) are quite below 175 sq.ft.

Any comments will be appreciated!

Excellent drawings thank you for sharing. I can never get enough info on the E.III I am always looking for more.

The Seattle Museum of Flight has a nice replica hanging in the WWI wing. Since it is hanging it is difficult to get decent pics though.
