During the weekend I visited Alex Imrie and as My replica which is being worked on by Achim Engels will be in the colours of Bertholds first DVII (with the streaky camouflage between the blue and the red on the fuselage) we naturally elaborated on the subject and Alex pointed out that it was very likely that Berthold also had the sword in wings design on the upper wing which is not documented by known photos but apparently features in the drawing on a book cover. Would anyone have more information on this? Possibly a photo of the cover? Is it likely that the white rectangle was not really there? By the way, any pictures or information as to armament, accountrements, equipment would be more than welcome.

My Gallery
Wulfo;
With out photographic proof, it is no more than active imagination. If Imrie does not have a photograph in his collection, no one does. Wulfo, With out the proof, I would not paint the "Winged Sword" on the center section of the wing. You have gone to great expense to get it right, don't screw it up in the finish.
Blue skiers,
