Does anyone know definitively the original serial number of the Brussels Army Museum's LVG C.VI ? *

The Albatros Productions Datafile 17 on the LVG C.VI on the rear inside cover lists it as "9070/18(?) (w/n 4981)" and on page page 25 shows an original wood rib marked “4846.”

I have a photo (attached) from Frank Strnad which shows one of its strutts with a metal plate “A.V.R.” and "Type LVG CV No. 4846." *I assume the C.V and C.VI strutts were interchangeable?

Hi Charles,

I would suggest you post same note on the Belgian Aviation History Association, BAHA Forum. You may get a wealth of feedback on that plane from them.
