Help!!
I've just order from Air Britain a couple of books, which list aircraft by serial and type, dates of service, etc. J1 - J9999 which covers the 1920s, and the K File, which apparently covers the 1930s. I'm hoping that these books will enable me to work out which aircraft were allocated to 100 Squadron during these years. However, my plea for assistance covers WW1, which is where i'm hoping you guys can help me - is there a book covering the Axxxx serials range, in order that i can do the same for 100 Squadron's FE2s and H-P 0-400s in WW1? And if such a book is available, can someone point me in the direction of where i might be able to buy it? Or will it be a case of going to the RAF Museum at Hendon and trawling through the record cards for both types? Many thanks in advance for any assistance anyone can offer. Greg |
