SE 5a...Aeroplane Monthly 1977

Greetings all; I have copies of the articles by S.E. 5 Fighter Supreme” by J.M. Bruce, Aeroplane Monthly, May - September 1977. Are there any articles that went passed Sept.? The was also a piece by our own Alex Revell on 56 Sqn RFC/RAF from the same magazine in Nov. 1976 were there any others? Thanks in advance.

Yep. Two more. Oct and Nov.
Oct was experimental types, 'chutes, undercarts, narrow chord ailerons and elevators, tail feathers etc.
Variable pitch props and fire extinguishers post war.
All up 7 pages with pics.

Nov issue, USA service, oddball types including A8947 sesquiplane version called SE5b, later retrofitted with standard wings, but kept engine mods, and called SE5c.
Canadian single and two seaters, C-GYBP, 'BJ, 'CE.
Skywriting, 50 X SE5a to Brit Civil Reg. not listed. Ends with production lists and specifications. 6 pages in all.

So, 13 pages of info outstanding. Lotsa luck.
