wheel cover hooks

Can anyone tell me what the hooks looked like on SE5 wheel covers? Where they made out of round or flat metal? Thanks in advance for your consideration. Cheers!

John,
Assuming that the SE-5 used Palmer-Cord wheels the covers were attached with hooks like these shown in the attached files. The larger rectangle was sewn into the circumferential seam of the linen cover with the hook protruding inwards. The hooks were then placed in holes in the rim of the wheel and the fabric doped to shrink it to fit.
Best regards,
William
