In the version, The Birth of Air Combat. I saw a WW1 aircraft that I do not know what it is,plus I can't find it anywere! In the movie, the plane is found when they are showing footage of the flying circus and telling about the Baron. It shows him fighting a plane in checkered colors. The plane in checkered colors is the plane I have no idea what it is. I hope someone knows the series and the plane im talking about!

That footage is from a German film of 1938 (Jasta 88?) and the aircraft is a Bucker 131. The Fokker DrI in the sequence is genuine so your confusion is understandable.

Quite right. Then, as now, a biplane is a biplane in movieland. The proliferation of Tigermoths and Stearmans in WWI flicks is nothing new.
