Nieuport 29

Now that we've established that the DH10 was a true warbird, how about the N29? Did she ever, even once, fly a combat mission in WWI?

Hello, R Pope -

Here's from Our Own Aerodrome, circa 2000:

The N29 was flying before the armistice, and some were assigned to the front units, but I can't find any reference to them actually arriving. Just wondered if one might have got there in time.

Ni.29 combat use

The Ni.29 was used in combat - I think it was by the French in Morocco.

The type was still in Spanish service at the start of the civil war - probably only served as a trainer.

The Siamese Ni.29s are reputed to have flown up to after the start of WWII.
