Hi everyone,

I have looked far and wide, and have come up empty handed when trying to locate a nice color drawing of von Schleich's well known Bavarian lion motif. Can anyone give me a good source, or better yet, post a picture that is high quality and correct in size and layout?

Regards

wingedwarrior:
In Profile Publications, Profile No.9, "Albatros D.V" on the inside cover is a presentation in color of Hptm Eduard Ritter von Schleich's "Rampant Lion" insignia.
If you don't have it, send me your mailing address.
Blue skies,
Dan-San

One of the problems with this scheme in the Profile pub is the lion is shown facing the rear of the airplane on the left side. It was forward facing on both sides.

A better job of it is in OtF V13 #3. It also have have not had a white tail nor the nice looking black/white striped tailplane....
