Smile Nieuport of Georges Flachaire

Hello Friends

I am investigating if some airplane exists it is linked to the French pilot, Sous Lieutenant Georges Flachaire.

He is an Ace of airplanes Nieuport?

But I ignore the exact type or if he had some particular marks.

He obtained 8 air victories among April of 1916 and March of 1917.

According to the list of aces of The Aerodrome their squadron was the N67.

Could somebody help to establish at least that airplane type was used those days?

Very grateful of you.

Thank you ahead of time.

Dario

Excuse my very bad English.

He certainly gain his first victory on a N11 as it said that he first score on a single seater and that was the only avalable at that time in the N67
while part of the groupement de cachy N67 was mainly using N16 and received some early N17, the N23 was in service with N67 from early 17 until june 17. in june 17 the unit get the spad and has a full complement complement of spad during the summer.
So for its first victory N11
For his second N16
for his victory 3 to 6 N17 or N16 (but I will guess N17 as the N16 was short lived at front
For its last Spad 7

Ami Gregoire

Very interesting their conclusion and data about the models of Nieuport flown by the N67.

They are of a lot of help.

Do you know if Georges Flachaire had an particular number that identified its airplane?

N67 use some particular mark maybe to identify its airplanes of the rest of the squadrons?

You Know some fact on the life or performance in the war of this pilot?

Grateful of their help, I wait that you or somebody can contribute something more to this topic.

Dario
