My favorite is the Hansa-Brandenburg D.I "Starstrutter." Jim Dietz told me it was one of his favorites too and he would like to paint one, one of these days...Looking forward to seeing that..

Fokker DVII with Albatross DII, DIII and Nieuport 28 tied for a close second place.

Pfalz D.III. Love the slim fuselage lines. Too bad it was a pig.
I like the looks of the rotaries like the Nieuports, DRI, and Camel.
I think the blunt nosed inlines like the SE5a, Fokker D.VII and Pfalz D.XII are butt ugly, but I might have a different opinion if I had to fly something in combat .

I have to say I am partial to the Albatros DIII for looks. If I was flying in the planes, I'd prefer the SE5a or Spad 13.

As for Pleasing Lines, The Nieuport 28 and ALbatros DV are tied in my book! When talking favorites, the SPADXIII,and Fokker DR1 are my tops.

My vote goes for the Fokker "Flying Razor" and the Junkers D1 on the Central Powers side. As for the Allies, I like the Bristol M1C and the Ansaldo SVA. Honorable mention to the DH 2.

P.S. For color schemes, nothing beats that experimental camo scheme for the Sopwith Salamander!
